Hope you have all had a wonderful summer and are settling into back-to-school routines.
If you have a child in Grades 4-8 and they are interested in forming or joining a FIRST LEGO League Challenge competitive robotics teams, here’s a great event for you:
FIRST LEGO League 2023-2024 Season Kickoff Event – MASTERPIECE
FIRST LEGO League’s 2023-2024 season is called “MasterPiece” and emphasizes the integration of Arts with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math). Check out the YouTube season teaser and the FLL website for a look at this year’s challenge theme.
Kickoff Event Details:
- September 23rd, Saturday, 1pm-3pm at LA Matheson Secondary, Surrey

Event Schedule
- 1:00pm – Season Kickoff Presentation
- 1:30pm – Stations, including Hands-on activities with SPIKE Prime LEGO Education robots, Coaches Corner, FLL Explore Info, Q/A with FIRST Senior Mentor, BC
- 3:00pm – Event ends
