Call for Volunteers
FIRST LEGO League Lower Mainland Tournament
Dec. 3, 2017
FIRST® LEGO® League challenges students in grades 4-8 to think like scientists and engineers. Students form teams to solve a real-world problem in the Project. They will also build, test, and program an autonomous robot using LEGO MINDSTORMS technology to solve a set of missions in the Robot Game. Throughout their experience, teams will operate under the FIRST LEGO League signature set of Core Values, celebrating discovery, teamwork, and Gracious Professionalism.
FIRST volunteers make a difference in the lives of young people, helping them to discover the real-world value in science and technology. Tournaments are run by volunteers who take on many different roles, everything from Refereeing or Judging, to Info Desk or Game Announcer. There is a volunteer role suited to your unique interest.
When: Dec. 3, 2017, 8:00am – 5:00pm
