After School Programs with LEGO® Education
In our after school programs students participate in hands on activities, strengthening their proficiency in STEM areas (science, technology, engineering and math).
Grades 1 to 3:
Coding, Building, Computational Thinking, Teamwork, Lots of fun! Kids will create, build, program and operate robotic animals, machines and vehicles with LEGO® Education WeDo and Mindstorms . Along the way they learn computational and critical thinking, problem solving and teamwork skills.
Grades 4 – 7:
These sessions are all about customizing and programming robots to perform predetermined tasks. Participants have a choice to use LEGO Mindstorms EV3s or Spike Prime kits, motors and sensors to solve various challenges. This is a fun way of strengthening computational and critical thinking, problem solving and teamwork skills at both the elementary and the middle school levels.
Robotics Competitions
Students are introduced to the amazing world of FIRST LEGO League, and learn skills that are crucial for successful participation in competitive robotics at the elementary and middle school level.
